Felicity Jones was born and raised in Britain and is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been in plays, films and TV from the age of 12. She started her career as a television actress with The Treasure Seekers. Then she was Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and The follow-up Weirdsister college. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she continued to act in other movies. The most notable of these was The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her work. It was however her character as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress an Oscar nomination the first time. Jones was Stephen Hawking's wife second in this biopic, received lots of praise from the critics and viewers due to the manner in which she portrayed her. Inferno is a Tom Hanks-starring thriller. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones with the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talents and contributions to the cinema.
